Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at the Museum!
To close this eventful year, we bring news that the Museum has been awarded a grant of £677,600 from the Heritage Lottery Fund, which will go towards renovating the buildings and funding future heritage activities. This achievement makes the Museum’s prospects in 2012/2013 very exciting, and thanks must go to the development team who put in a staggering amount of work to get us to where we are at the moment.

Responding to feedback provided from the previous year, the displays have been revamped and are more visually stimulating, featuring a great selection of archived photographs.
