FRIENDS OF WOODHALL SPA COTTAGE MUSEUM COFFEE MORNING

The coffee morning was organised by around 20 volunteers and Friends of Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum members. A large number of goodies were on sale from delicious looking cakes, delightful craft items and colourful greetings cards. The raffle and tombola stalls were well attended too.

In addition to these usual stalls there were books about the village and the DVD "Why Woodhall Spa" on sale. The museum volunteers also put on a display of photographs and memorabilia featuring the recent Treasure Box exhibition and the Arnhem corner from the current museum display season.

Finally, the plans for the proposed development of the museum were displayed for the visitors to view and express their opinions on.

Before leaving the hall visitors were also treated to tea or coffee and seasonal cakes or biscuits.

A very creditable £500 was raised for museum funds.
