Best Event Award 2009 Best Use of the Lincolnshire Heritage Website At the Awards Ceremony held at The Kinema in the Woods on Wednesday 15th. July, the awards were collected on behalf of the Cottage Museum by Jackie Goodall for the "Best Event" category, recognising The Treasure Box Project and Philip Groves, who collected the award in "Best use of the Lincolnshire Heritage Forum Website" category, for the e-commerce marketing of the DVD "Why Woodhall Spa?" During her introduction Hannah Gould, Museum Development Officer, Lincolnshire. praised the Treasure Box Event for involving all areas of the community and the Museum, for giving over the entire building, which involved removing all the Museum exhibits and transforming it into a Treasure Box. The use of the video trailer for the DVD and setting up the Pay Pal payment system was greatly appreciated by the judges as a very positive step forward in promoting the Museum by the use of e-commerce. David Radford, Chairman of the Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum commented, "Two awards at a prestigious ceremony attended by representatives from the Lincolnshire and East Midlands museum world! This is a fantastic accolade for the dedication and professionalism of Cottage Museum volunteers and, of course, the continuing preservation of Woodhall Spa's heritage."
